Tips Before Starting YOUR BodySlims Program

Today, I'm sharing two essential tips I wish I had known before starting my Body Slims program. These strategies will help you prioritize and organize your efforts effectively.


Prioritizing Your Time and Organizing Your Effort

To achieve your goals, you must prioritize your tasks and organize them within a schedule.


Here’s how to get started:

  1. Make Yourself a Priority: Your well-being should be non-negotiable. This means setting aside time each day for activities that support your health and fitness goals.

  2. Create a Schedule: Use a planner or calendar to map out your daily tasks. I offer free weekly printables on my website that you can use to get started. Whether you use mine or another tool, fill it with essential tasks that you must accomplish daily. This will help you develop healthy habits and keep you on track.


Benefits of Scheduling

When you have a calendar, you’re doing two crucial things:

  • Setting Intentions: By writing down your plans, you set a clear intention to follow through.

  • Creating Accountability: If something doesn’t get done, you can reflect on why and make necessary adjustments.


Essential Tools for Getting Started

Preparation is key to success. Here are some items that can help you get started:

  • Quality Footwear: Invest in good tennis shoes and plush socks, especially if you plan on walking or using a static bike.

  • Comfortable Workout Clothes: Having outfits you enjoy wearing can motivate you. I found affordable options on Amazon that look great and feel good.

  • Kitchen Scale and Bathroom Scale: These tools are essential for tracking your progress.

  • Crockpot: I use mine weekly to prepare chicken for salads and meals, making healthy eating more convenient.

  • Meal Containers: Stock up on these for easy meal prep and storage. They help keep your meals organized and reduce the temptation to opt for less healthy options.


Keeping a Journal

A journal is a valuable tool for reflection and accountability. Write down key insights and experiences from your program. This helps you remember your priorities and track your progress.
